Commander Info

The /commander command pulls up a detailed card for any Rise of Kingdoms commander, right inside Discord. Start typing a name and pick from the autocomplete list, and the bot posts the commander’s main info to the channel. Many commanders also come with buttons under the card that open extra panels (talent builds, recommended pairings, and more) so your members can find what they need without leaving Discord.

Type /commander and start entering a name in the commander_name box. The autocomplete suggests matching commanders as you type, including common aliases, so you do not need the exact spelling. Pick one and send it.

The bot posts the commander’s main card to the channel for everyone to see. If that commander has extra panels set up, you will see buttons under the card. Clicking a button (for example a talents or pairing button) sends that panel back to you privately, so only you see the follow-up. Anyone in the channel can click the buttons to pull up their own copy.

Those buttons keep working even after the bot restarts, so old /commander posts stay interactive in your channels.

  • “I couldn’t find information for commander …” - the name did not match a known commander. Re-type it and choose an entry from the autocomplete list instead of typing it out fully.
  • The command does not respond or says it is only allowed elsewhere - your server has channel restrictions. Use the channel the bot points you to, or ask an admin to configure one. See Channel Restrictions.
  • The command does not appear at all - the server has not unlocked Patron. An admin needs to run /patreon verify. See Setup.
